Reconciliation.

What is Reconciliation?

The sacrament of Reconciliation celebrates the mercy of Jesus Christ.  Earnestly confessing our sins is the key to reconciling us to God — and  in recognizing our failings — helps us grow into a deeper relationship with Him, and to each other.   Confession breaks the power of shame and hurt of sin and restores and revitalizes our relationships within the community of faith in the life of the Church.

First Reconciliation

Our Sacramental Preparation program is designed as a faith journey for children in Grades 2-5.  First Reconciliation preparation concludes with Group First Reconciliation in February.

To prepare for receiving First Reconciliation, students participate in our  Sacramental Preparation Workshops.  For those students preparing for the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Communion, participation in Faith Formation grades 1-5 is required.  Dates and details for the preparation of First Reconciliation and First Communion will be forthcoming.
