For active Catholics, we celebrate God’s love of their children (up to age 7) and membership into our community through “Infant Baptism.”  We can’t wait to welcome your child into the life of Christ and our Church!  Baptisms are celebrated any weekend during Sunday/Saturday Mass, except during Advent and Lent.  Please try to contact us at least twelve weeks before your desired date of Baptism. 

When we Baptize (an infant or adult), the candidate is dressed in regular clothes and after Baptism they are dressed in a white garment by their family, signifying by word and example the family is to help this new member “put on Christ. 

Godparents or “Sponsors”  represent the church and obviously need to be living their faith.  A letter from their church attesting to this is needed.  It is only necessary to have one Catholic Sponsor who is over 16 and received Confirmation.
